Today, Discovery Parks – Goolwa hosted 18 operators and individuals for a Business Breakfast. The Meet a Member series is a new initiative of Business Alexandrina that enables collaboration, partnerships and information sharing. Today we heard from Jane Kelly, Discovery Parks, regarding the first stage of a $22 million investment in the Fleurieu region. We also introduced two new Experts in residence, Angela DiFabio from New Venture Institute (NVI) and Rachel Leonow from NBN.

Angela spoke of New Venture Institute being a centre for innovation, developing, enabling and connecting a vibrant eco-system of innovative businesses, students, researchers, academics and government. Flinders NVI plays a vital role in equipping South Australia’s next generation of innovators to realise their potential and not only actively engage in the global economy, but to grow it.

Rachel shared NBN's continued commitment to help accelerate digital capability, growth and productivity of Australian businesses through Business Fibre Zones. They also have a number of new initiatives that aim to reduce the costs to businesses, including an Innovate with NBN Grants Program.
